Throughout Frank’s career he has created, produced, performed and written multiple works in stage, screen and literature. Here are some details about them and pictures from the archive. Frank’s current stage production, entitled ‘Kandinsky’s Women’, revolves around the troubled life of Russian abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky. Frank is also currently writing a book on ‘Dialectic Art’ that will serve as his PhD Thesis.

Aboriginal Rituals (Literature, 1996)
“This is a book I authored detailing various music, art and dance based rituals of Australian aboriginal tribes, through which they were able to learn, navigate and reign over the land for tens of thousands of years. The functional method of artistic practise in the tribes is nothing short of amazing, and taught me invaluable lessons as to why we actually create art as human beings.
The book served as my honours thesis at La Trobe University, to great effect. The book was also proudly published by Spectrum Publications, available at the National Library of Australia, Melbourne, along with various university libraries including Deakin University. This work allowed me to further expand my expertise into research literature, and was an enlightening educational experience.”

Talk Show (Stage, 2002)
A large scale production written and directed by Frank, in which he also held the lead role. This was featured at Chapel Off Chapel for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, 2002.

Stage Fright (Stage, 2005)
An original musical comedy created and directed by Frank and featured at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, 2005.

The Voice (Screen, 2005)
This was Frank’s first screenplay that garnered attention at the Melbourne and Sydney Film Festivals. It is a project that hits close to home for Frank, as it is based on the music school and various people he has been associated with throughout the years.

Based on real life experiences, RADIO KINGS follows Sam and Pete: two employees at a radio station taking the audience on a comedic journey as they navigate the pitfalls and shallow nature of the business.
